Good day to all. I hope you had a wonderful weekend. I was busy gearing up for the Madera Fair that starts next week! Well, we have a busy day scheduled for you. There are several things I want to share and go over with the class in order to make our time in here run much smoother and more efficient. Below are the list of things I plan for us to accomplish today.
-Discuss charger usage and seating organization
-Create an Intro to Mechanics folder on your computers desktop
-Insert an Info and Notes folder and a Projects folder into your class folder
-Access your school email and help me build a 'Group' for this class
-Save my wiki page for 'one click' access
-Navigate and explore my wiki
-Download and go over the course syllabus
-Save the Course Syllabus file into the proper folder
-Set group goals for our class
If at any time you fall behind, do not hesitate to speak up. I or an upper classman will gladly come by to help you. We must all start off on the right foot, and these are basic practices you will need to know for all of your classes. Those of you who have never used a Mac before, do not worry, the learning curve is very gentle and you will pick it up in no time.
Please stack the buckets and the seats neatly before you leave and be sure to hang the laptop chargers neatly on the bookshelf after you are done using them. Please take note, abusing privileges will lead to having less privileges. So stack the chairs and hang the chargers please.
Your Assignment Share the digital course syllabus with your parent/guardians, have them sign the signature form, and bring it back to me by the next class period. It is due on Wednesday at the start of class.
